Last Day...

Well, today was my last 'official' day as a stay at home mom. Come Monday, the little guy will be in school all day and I'll be at work. Sigh. We had a pretty typical day. I packed his new lunch box with his lunch so he could 'practice'. I almost cried knowing that it was the end of our daily lunches together. This whole thing just stinks. Can't he be little forever? Can't I be at home with him forever???
I don't want it to change....

Oh, well.

Yesterday was fun! I met up with an online buddy for lunch. I 'met' Kalyn last year when she was interning at Paper Crafts.and we've chatted back and forth ever since. She's a doll and makes the cutest cards! She lives fairly close by, so we were able to catch up with each other, finally. We had such a nice time and have already planned our next 'scrappy date'!

Here's a photo that Ryan took...

Here are a couple of new cards. I made them for Tattered Angels. The first one uses the new Webster's Porcelain line.

And here's the second. The brads and flowers are Zva.

Information about both of them can be found on the Tattered Angels blog.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

What a neat opportunity to meet up with her. Sorry about your "last" memories. You made me think back to when my youngest started first grade and it was a change in our lives too. It is interesting how we look forward to these milestones yet don't want change either!! Things will be exciting!!!

I know it is hard to go back to work. I struggle with this very idea myself. Not so sure I want to do it at all. I love being home and creating. Having my very own schedule. Your cards are wonderful. BTW, what type of employment are you going back to?

Annabelle, I am sure you are sad about your son starting school and the changes, but how exciting for him. Your cards are beautiful

These cards are gorgeous!!! I can so relate to your feelings about sending off your son to school. I remember the summer a few years ago when my youngest started preschool. It was really hard to say goodbye to that special one-on-one time during the week, but I will always have fond memories.

It's so hard to watch your "baby" grow up ...

The cards are really beautiful! I especially love the one with the flowers.
