February Gossamer Blue Projects

Hi! February Gossamer Blue kits are now on sale. I thought I'd pop on and share my projects this month.

So, as you know, I am really spending a lot of my creative time working on my planners. I still love creating layouts, but honestly, I have so many that are not in albums, I wonder if I want to create that many more. So, I am looking for alternative ways to memory keep. I have decided to use Traveler's Notebooks to do that. I love the size and their portability. Plus, Webster's Pages is coming out with some adorable TNs and I can't wait to fill them up.

Here are my first two pages.

I received an Instax printer for Christmas and am loving that I can print off my pictures and add them to my pages. Plus, I find that I can record the story and journal so much more. I am excited to continue with the TNs.

Of course, I'm not totally giving up on layouts. Here is one I created about the Gaming Room we created for Ryan. We can't finish our basement, so we converted our fourth bedroom into a space for him. Now he and his friends can hang out and play their video games there. He loves it.

Be sure to head over to Gossamer Blue and check out the kits. And don't forget to peek in the gallery. The DT made some amazing projects this month that you won't want to miss!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Color Crush Catch Up

It's the second post in one week for me. I'm on a roll! I thought I'd share some planner spreads since I haven't done that in a while. Here are some of my favorites from the past couple of months...

This was one that I used the week of Christmas. I was in a pink and gold kind of mood. I just love how the charm that I made looks with it. The papers are from Webster's Pages and I made the clip with a felt piece from Michael's.

This next one is my December calendar. I used the November kit from the Planner Society and just loved the colors.

Finally, this one is from New Year's week. Most of the goods are from the January Gossamer Blue kits. How fun are those Fancy Pants numbers>

Sorry for the blue tinge in the last coupe of photos. Between work and short days I have such a hard time getting shots during the winter!

Thanks for stopping by!

One Little Word - Accomplish

So, how many of you do 'One Little Word' for the  year. I have to admit that I've done it in the past, but have forgotten it by March. I kid you not. I would think, 'Hmmm, what was my word for the year?' Pretty sad. Anyway, this year, I decided things would be different. I decided to use one of my planners as my goal planner.I chose gold, just because I love it and it seems so perfect for the task. I have a lot to do this year, so I chose the word ACCOMPLISH. And what better way to accomplish my goals than to track them in my planner. Let me show you my set up...

I started off by using one of the dashboards and adding my word to it. I love how you open up the planner and BAM, there's my word. No forgetting it for me this year.

Next, I set up my twelve monthly calendar spreads. In between the pages I put one of the Webster's Color Crush 'goals' insert pages. I haven't used these as intended before, but am so glad I have a reason for them now. Here you can see my January goals. I decided not to set too many or to  make them to hard - I know I won't meet them that way. Setting manageable ones seems the best way for me to actually ACCOMPLISH them. :) So, the goals are written in the middle, then on the top and bottom, I list the steps that I will do to meet them. It's been fun checking things off as I go this month.

Now, I guess I didn't get a clear picture, but you can see parts of the calendar page. On there, I planned when I will do each of the tasks to meet my goals. It's been helping me stay on target and doesn't get lost in my weekly/monthly schedule that can get overwhelming.

That is the main part of my planner. But, what about the rest of it. Well, I created sections for the areas in my life which the goals may be a part of. In these sections, I can make notes, write lists, save phone numbers, etc. The sections are Fitness, Professional, Financial, Home, and Personal.

So far, this system has really worked for me. I'm looking forward to ACCOMPLISHING a lot this year.

Do you have a goal setting system? I'd love to see it. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Gossamer Blue January Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the January Gossamer Blue Blog Hop. As you know, each month the team shares projects to give you all some extra inspiration. Hope you are enjoying the hop so far!
The January kits are beautiful! Love is certainly in the air and I was able to create several Valentine' Day tags using them.

This first tag is one I made especially for this blog hop.

I started off with a Life's Pages card that I cut into  tag shape. I added a doily piece, some washi, stickers and twine. Then, I clipped it to another card. I like having the additional card to write my sentiment on, so it doesn't ruin the little tag.

Here are several more tags that I created for the GB blog this month. These tags were all created using items from the Bits and Pieces kits.

They were super easy to pull together and certainly would be great to attach to a small Valentine's gift.

Be sure to stop by the rest of the team's blogs for more inspiration!
Thanks for visiting today. :)

Giveaway Winner and Gossamer Blue January Projects

Hi! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and left a comment on the Season's Givings Blog Hop. The winner of my prize package is E. Michaels. Congrats! Please email me your address so I can get your prize package out.

Today, I am sharing my Gossamer Blue January Projects. I just love this kit. It is filled with such pretty 'love' themed goodies. There's a lot of the new Crate Paper Hello Love line and I just adore it.

My first project is a layout about my son and my dear friend's new baby. This was the first time they met and my heart was just full! I just love the Crate triangle paper and the large Fancy Pants letters. They are so fun!

Next is this sweet card. I used a Life's Pages  card and die from the Hello Love pack. I added the doily for some extra texture.

Finally, here is my planner spread. I told you that I love those big numbers. I just had to use them on my New Year's week. This is my gold Color Crush, btw.
Be sure to check back on the 15th. I'll be participating in the Gossamer Blue monthly blog hop. See you then!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! And Welcome to the Season's Givings Blog Hop. So glad to have you stopping by. If you are a regular reader, thank you for hanging in there with me, as my blog has been pretty neglected lately. If you are new here, I'd love to have you stick around! Also, if you'd like to see more, visit my Instagram account. I post there all the time. It's @agomalley.

Anyway, I thought I'd share a few cards that I made recently for Emma's Paperie. I definitely see a theme in my cards - layers, flowers, Crate Paper and white space. Hope you enjoy them.

Today, I have a giveaway. If you'd like to be entered, just leave a comment. If you don't have a blogger account linked to your email, leave your email address, too. Here are my goodies. The paper is Pink Paislee and Studio Calico. You can enter until midnight on Friday, January 8.

Be sure to stop by these blogs, as well. Each one has giveaway and the more blogs you visited the better chance you have at winning. Good luck and thanks for stopping by. Happy New Year!!!
