Flip Flops and Doxies

Summer is going strong and I'm loving the free time my summer vacation brings. Being a teacher is a VERY hard job, but my time off in the summer is worth it!

Here are the spreads I created this week. Last week, someone asked how many Filofaxes I use at once. The answer is two. One is my personal calendar that I carry with me everywhere. The other stays on my scrapping table and is used to plan my DT assignments, keep track of what I do each day so I can document it in my PL, holds PL sketches, lists photos I want to use, etc. In other words, it's my scrapbooking and Project Life manager. I do rotate through the planners though depending on my mood and the colors of my spreads. Some people collect shoes and wear new ones each day. I prefer to collect Filofaxes. :)

In my Poppy Saffiano this week, I went with a fun summer theme. Echo Park's Summer Bliss collection has the perfect stickers and PL cards for decorating this theme. BTW, I'm loving my Saffiano. Even though it's not real leather, it has a great texture and the color is so fun!

Also, I found the Becky Higgins page markers on clearance at Michael's for 2.99! I cut them down and they work perfectly here.

Chevron Washi- Bella Blvd.

On to my Yellow Finsbury. I must really love this planner, too, because I find myself coming back to it over and over. Especially in the summer. Must be the color! I had recently gotten the cute Doxie clip and thought he'd look cute with these stickers I'd gotten a while ago. While I'm definitely more of a cat person, I'm loving these little pups this week.

Well, that's all for this week. Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Hi Annabelle: I don't get by your blog nearly as often as I'd like; but I always enjoy myself when I do. I found my way here tonight via the Crate Paper blog. I just fell in LOVE with their Oh Darling line. In fact, here is a link to the cards I made using this line. It's just SO sweet! Isn't it?

I hope you will stop by and take a little peek. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for the inspiration here on your blog.
