Brandin's Journey

About three weeks ago, Brandin O'Neill, the designer and owner of Webster's Pages decided to become a scrapbooker herself. Have you followed her journey? IF not, check out the Webster's Blog.

Each week, she's issued a challenge to scrap to. So far, she's made two incredible pages! Seriously, drop dead gorgeous pages. And each week, we, the DT give her some advice. This week, her challenge is to create a card! Well, I was really excited to share my advice with her. I also made a card to illustrate what I was saying.

I used the new small die cut paper from the Hollywood Vogue line. And I used some of the new netting and little whimsies. (LOVE them!)

A couple of weeks ago, we shared our first layouts with her so she wouldn't feel badly. HA! My page is sooooooo dated and just BAD, and her's turned out gorgeous! Have a feeling it wasn't beginner's luck either. Anyway, I thought I'd leave you with these photos of my first layout. Be sure to check out the cut out photos that I did using the deco scissors. Oh, and that 70's disco suit my hubby is wearing is actually one he owned and used during his studly bachelor days!!!

Thanks for stopping by!! (and you can stop laughing now. :) )

Okay your card wowed meto comet your blog and when I did I was shocked to see your first LO ever! I had that Halloween print paper. It was like all they sold. Bad computer printed paper that was blank in the middle. I also remember the scissors. I rarely use mine except theponking shears. Do you think they will ever come back? :-)

What a truly gorgeous card, it reminds me of the 2 Sketches 4 You sketch for this week.

That card is absolutely gorgeous! So soft and pretty! And I loved seeing your first ever layout. I think it didn't turn out that well. My first layout wasn't as good: I know it was all yellow and had the most awful alphas on it. Maybe that awful layout is the reason I never use yellow anymore;)
