Simplicity

My life is far from simple. My scrapping style - nope, not simple. Though, I'm trying to make it a bit more so. Simple doesn't come easily to me. But, I love it!

This month at the Webster's blog, we are focusing on simplicity. Most people think of Webster's as flowery, detailed, and difficult. It doesn't have to be! Head over and see how the DT has defined 'simple'. My project showed how a single embellishment can make a statement. I created a card set using Princess Petals. and trim. That's it. But, I think they really pack a good punch!

I chose coordinating flowers and papers. The gold trim was perfect for all four cards. I added them to the card front and stamped a sentiment on the bottom. (PTI stamps)

Then, since I wanted this to be a gift, I tied them all together with some tulle, added a flower, some seam binding, a pin and stamped tag. That's it. Simple. Easy. And fun!

Be sure to head over to the Webster's Blog to see the other 'simple' ideas there!
And speaking of the blog, next week will be filled with lots of creations. We did a product swap with Glue Arts and each day there will be new projects posted. Here's a sneak peek of mine...

So, thanks for popping in today. Hope you have a wonderful day!
