Color Crush Pages

The lazy days of summer have arrived and I am loving every second of them! I am trying to savor this time, as it goes so quickly.

Here are a few spreads that I have done this past month.

First off, here is my completed May calendar. I love the rainbow and dot washi tapes. They are both from Doodlebug.

This spread in my Sky Blue Color Crush featured some cute kitty stickers and page markers. I think the stickers were from Sticko, but am not sure.

Memorial Day week was a lot of fun in my White Color Crush. I used goodies from Pebble's Americana line. The washi and border stickers are Doodlebug. I used Doodlebug 3D stickers to create the hot dog and hamburger clips. I just adhered them to the clips.

This next spread uses goodies from Pink Paislee's Citrus Twist line. I seriously love it. The mix of Flamingoes and fruit just screams summer to me.

Back in my Sky Blue Color Crush, I used goodies from my Planner Society kit. I seriously adore this kit. I cut the flower and the border along the bottom from some of the exclusive papers that came with the kit.

Finally, here is my Sky Blue with goodies from my Happie Scrappie Planner kit. This one is so much fun, too. I mixed in some Echo Park stickers and my new felt clips from Pigtails and Pockets (on Etsy).

So, that's what I've been up to, plannerwise. (Is that a word? LOL)
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

June Gossamer Blue Blog Hop

Hi and welcome! It's the 15th of the month and that means that we are here with more inspiration from Gossamer Blue's June kits. As you know, we like to share more projects to keep you inspired with the kit.  I saved my favorite layout for last.

This layout is about a few of my favorite things. Getting my nails done and planning are definitely two things that I love. I added my list by using the clips that came with the kit. I punched circles and attached the to that, then used foam adhesive to attach them to the page.

These vellum hearts were one of my favorite embellishments in this month's kits. I created a border with them and added some stitching. I love how they look against the grey and white striped paper!

My next project is a spread in my Traveler's Notebook.  I have been doing the Lister's Gotta List challenge. Each day, there is a prompt and you create a list based off it. I love using my scrappy supplies to decorate the pages.  The June kit had such fun colors to use on my lists.

Well, that's it for this month. Thanks so much for stopping by. Be sure to visit the rest of the team for even more inspiration and ideas!

Color Crush Catch Up

I often hear people say that they don't understand the whole 'planner thing'. I'm not sure what there isn't to understand. It's fun!!

I love decorating because it makes me happy to open up my planner and add stuff to it. Plus, it gives me another way to use all of my scrapping supplies. Here are some of my recent spreads.

This first one is my April calendar. It was easy to do. I added some washi and stickers to the empty spaces at the beginning of the month. Then, as the days passed, I added more where there were blank spots.

This spread in my Dark Pink planner used stickers and paper from Kaisercraft. It's called Dream Big.

This next spread used lots of goodies from the Target Dollar spot. I love the pink, green and grey here. The little phone clip is made from a Crate Paper chipboard piece.

Next up is my Light Teal planner. I used May's Gossamer Blue kits here. The card is from the Life's Pages kit, I also used stamps and stickers from the kit. I made the bow clip from exclusive paper that came with it and the other clip was made from a Crate Paper 3d sticker.

This next one uses October Afternoon's Treasure Map line. I added that cute little whale clip. Isn't he cute? He's from Kawaii Paperie on Etsy.

I pulled out some cute Kawaii goodies for this next spread. I love the tape. I think it's from Etsy. The pig clip is also from Kawaii Paperie.

Finally, I decorated the front of my Sky Blue with lots of goodies from my Planner Society kit. This was the first month that I got the kit and I love it. I'll be sharing a couple of more projects I made with the kit soon.

Well, that's it for today. If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Coffee Lovers Summer Blog Hop

It's that time! I had so much fun participating in the Spring Coffee Lover's Blog Hop that I had to do the summer one, too. We had to do something summer themed, so I pulled out my June Gossamer Blue kits, since the colors are so bright and cheery - perfect for summer. Here is what I pulled together.

I used Pink Paislee die cuts, Verve stamp, Verve die cut (coffee) and some American Crafts paper. The sentiment pretty much sums up how I feel about my coffee!

Be sure to visit the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog for links to a ton of wonderful cards.

Gossamer Blue June Kits

Gossamer Blue June Kits are available and I have to say this month is one of my favorites. My projects came together so quickly! I love the mix of Pink Paislee and American Crafts goodies this month.

Here's a couple of the projects that I made with them. First up is a layout I created using Main Kit only. I wanted the photo to be the main thing on the page. On Mother's Day, I came home from running errands to find this beautiful message written from the fallen cherry blossom petals on  our front lawn.

I decided to embellish around the photo and used some of the GB printable die cuts, and lots of the Pink Paislee die cuts.
That pineapple is one of my favorites. Isn't it cute??
I thought this wood 'keeper' tag was the perfect accent, as well!

Next up is a page I made about Ryan with a couple of our dear friends. We went to their home the night before my birthday and had a wonderful dinner and birthday cake celebration.

I love the triangle paper and used that for the background. It's a GB exclusive. I layered several of the Life's Pages cards together to create the background.

Then I added the embellishments. I love these ones on the sticks. I think they are super fun to tuck behind items and layer over elements.

Be sure to stop by the Gossamer Blue gallery for lots of inspiration! And check back on the 15th for a second round of projects during the GB blog hop.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
