Crushing on My Gold Color Crush Planner

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! Last week I pulled out my Gold Color Crush and it is definitely love at first sight. It's going to be hard for me to put this baby back on the shelf. :)

Since the planner has pink on the inside, I decided to go with a pink and gold theme.

How fun is that??? I love it. The gold washi is from Michael's. And the pink is Queen and Company. The tag is from a Maggie Holmes die cut set. I added the gold stickers (glitter- Teresa Collins, puffy hearts- Studio Calico) as a nice touch of bling. AND, I started adding stamps to my planner. I recently purchased some new ones and am having fun incorporating them into my week, The tassel is from Haute Pink Fluff on Etsy. And I made the bow clips using bows I got from Freckled Fawn. I love how they turned out!

Next up is last week in my Sky Blue planner. I decided to pull out some cute Kawaii stickers to go along with the owl stickers I had in my stash. Again, I did lots of stamping! Also, I'm still LOVING my Frixion pens. Best purchase ever. Here is the link to the set I love.

Well, that's it for today. Can't believe that February is done and that we are into March. Though a big part of me is doing the happy dance. We're that much closer to the summer!  Only 85 more days until Memorial Day. I'm counting down with an app on my phone. LOL.

Thanks for stopping by!

Webster's Pages Sky Blue Color Crush

Last week I pulled out my Sky Blue Color Crush planner. I liked it when I received it, but once I started using it, I decided that I really loved it. The color is so soothing and it coordinates so well with lots of things. :)

The supplies I automatically went to were the stickers and chipboard from Webster's Sweet Routine line. LOVE them. ;) They are perfect with the Sky Blue.

Here is how my spread looked when I finished it off. I created the clips by hot gluing the cameos and bows to the paper clips. The striped washi is Doodlebug. I forget about the woodgrain one, though.

This week, I am using my gold Color Crush and Folio and am absolutely in love with it. Here is a peek at the supplies I used. I'm trying to use more stamps in my planner. The little inks fit nicely inside the folio.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

This Was Awesome

I'm sitting at my kitchen table enjoying a beautiful Snow Day off from school. Dare I say that this might be my favorite part of being a teacher. LOL. Just kidding! But, it's definitely one of the best perks.

I finished off a layout this morning using the beautiful On My Desk collection from Gossamer Blue. Love the bold colors. They are really versatile. I decided to use this line to scrap some pictures that we took at a local park last month. Our family really enjoys hiking and nature, even in winter. Here's my page....

I added lots of cute little elements around and under the photos.

I think that the puffy stickers are my favorites! They are so cute and the sayings are really fun.

I used a photo pocket to tuck this picture into and added a chipboard frame from Gramercy Road onto it.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! The On My Desk collection is available in the Gossamer Blue store. :) Check it out!

Webster's Pages Planner Love

I am absolutely loving my Color Crush planners. The colors are truly amazing and the quality of the inserts are fabulous - so heavy and beautifully designed. I'm so excited to be a part of the Color Crush design team. I've been decorating and playing with them for the past couple of weeks. I wanted to share what I've done so far.

Here is my Light Teal planner. I think it might be my favorite. I adore the color. This spread uses goodies from the Nest collection from Webster's.

I used the Nest collection on this spread, too. It looks awesome in the Light Pink planner. (Which also might be my fave...lol)

Here is another spread in the light pink. The love card is from Allison Kreft's Valentine's Day line from last year for Webster's. It went perfectly with the light pink.

The past couple of weeks I've had so much fun using my Dark Pink and decorating it for Valentine's Day. I made some clips from felt pieces and used lots of Doodlebug Designs goodies in it, including the washi in this pic.

The dark pink folio has gotten a good workout, too. I love that it holds so much. I'm trying to do more stamping in my planners and I have been able to carry around my stamps, ink, and acrylic block.
Here's last week's spread in the Dark Pink. Aren't those birds adorable? They are from Pebbles Inc.

So there you have it. I'll be sharing more, soon. In the meantime, I'm busy creating for a fun Guest Designer assignment that I can't wait to share with you.

Have a great day!

Means So Much

As some of you may remember, I was a part of the Season's Givings blog hop. The winner of my giveaway was Connie Gregoire. Connie told me that she's been a long time follower. I was so glad that I got to 'meet' her after all of this time. (It made me wonder how many others are out there reading this little blog. I check my stats, but of course that doesn't connect the person with the visit.) I love that we were able to connect this way!

Anyway, I sent off her prize package and in return I received the most beautiful thank you note. I had to share it!

Isn't that stamping amazing? And look at the woodgrain background. I am so inspired!

Thank you, Connie for the beautiful card and kind words. It is now displayed in my scraproom. So glad we got the chance to get to know each other a bit. :)

Hello Breakfast:: Gossamer Blue Blog Layout

This month's Gossamer Blue's kits are filled with some adorable October Afternoon goodies. As soon as I saw this line, I knew I wanted to create a page about Ryan's love for 'breakfast for dinner'. His favorite place to have it is at Perkin's.

I created each of the little squares using a GB Life's Pages card as the base. I stitched them and then layered the OA cards on top with foam adhesive.

Adding the photo, some stickers and labels really tied them together.

Some of the LP cards I chose had cute little sayings, so I had them stick out from the bottom.

I typed my journaling onto one of the cards then added the Hello banner stickers as part of the title.

I love grid layouts and this one came together so easily.
Thanks for stopping by and having a peek. Be sure to check out the Gossamer Blue store to see all of the newest kits as well as the gallery. There are loads of amazing projects this month.

Gossamer Blue Reveal

Sorry I haven't posted in the past couple of weeks. Work has been crazy busy! We don't have extra student helpers this time of year, so things are more hectic than usual.

I'm here today to share my Gossamer Blue February kit layouts. If you like bright, primary colors, you'll love this month's kits. They are filled with October Afternoon, Basic Grey, and of course lots of GB exclusives.

Here are the two spreads I've created so far. I decided to use lots of white this month with pops of color.

This first one uses just the main Life's Pages kit. I also used the stamps from the kit which are my absolute favorites so far!
The acrylic and wood pieces are really cute!
There are lots of elements from Simple Stories included in the kits, too. I used the chipboard camera on this page.

This page uses a bunch of goodies from Basic Grey.

I also added some of the clear stickers from Simple Stories. I love how you can layer them onto the
photos!
So, be sure to stop by the store and check out the kits!
