I'm finally feeling like I've recovered from my trip. It's been so fun seeing all of the photos that people have been posting. And now the waiting begins. I can't wait to get my hands on the new goodies. ;) Luckily, I have a bunch of new things from my teams and that will be keeping me busy. This month, Webster's Pages and Tattered Angels are teaming up to showcase how well their products work together. Hello?!?! They are two of my faves and I love working both manufacturer's into my projects. Be sure to check out the TA blog and Inspire me for lots of inspiration starting on Feb. 1!
OK, I love creating for Valentine's Day!!! I think it's my favorite occassion to make cards for. Red and pink and hearts and flowers....yum! Here are a couple of things that I made already...
This first card is in the Jan./Feb issue of Paper Crafts. I love bingo cards and wanted it to be the focus on this one.
This next card is one I did for Emma's last week. I just love the colors on here. I used some My Mind's Eye and Pink Paislee papers, a PP clear sticker, a Prima flower and Zva pearls.
Be sure to scroll down and read about my giveaway! Leave a comment on either this post or the one below by midnight Sunday night to be eligible to win a copy of Paper Crafts' new Card Creations issue.
Thanks for stopping by!

Back from CHA!
I'm home! I walked out of the hotel on Tuesday morning at 7:25 AM and walked into my house at 9 PM. It was a looooong day. Then, I had to get up and get right back into the swing of things yesterday - work, karate, the grocery store.
CHA was awesome. Getting to spend time with others who get as excited about papercrafting as I do was a real treat. Being with Cindy, Jessica and Lisa was just soooooooooooooooo much fun!!! We bought so many goodies for Emma's. And we just ate, laughed and oohed and ahhed over everything together. I miss them already.
There are just so many wonderful new products coming out. Among my favorites were The Girl's Paperie, Melody Ross' GCD Studios collections, the new October Afternoon and the new Cosmo Cricket. The word of the show is 'vintage'. There was lots of vintage inspired motifs and the look is 50s- retro- housewife-sewing- inspired. LOVE it!! Of course, the Zva, Webster's and Tattered Angels booths were amazing, too.
I have to admit my pictures really didn't turn out too well. I had my pocket camera with me. But, I do have a few fun shots that I'll share soon. Just haven't had a second to download them. In the meanwhile, check out Linda Beeson's blog. She got some GREAT shots.Julie Fie-Fan Balzer has some good pics. And if you like videos, Amy Coon has some up at the Paperlife.
Another awesome part of CHA for me was getting a chance to visit with the Papercrafts girls. They are all so wonderful! They were debuting the new Card Creations issue there and I just got my contributor's copy in the mail. So in order to celebrate the release of this awesome issue, I'm giving one away. Simply leave a comment by Sunday at midnight and I will randomly select a winner.
Here is one of the cards I have in there. This issue focuses on both the outside AND inside of the card. There are so many great ideas. I know that I don't usually decorate the insides, but I'm really inspired to do so now that I've read this.
This one uses one of my all time favorite stamp sets, Papertrey's Star Prints. I stamped with Dark Chocolate and used the rustic buttons (they are made from coconut shells - how cool) and rustic twine. The papers and stickers are all Webster's.
So, just leave me a comment by midnight on Sunday and you could be the lucky winner of this issue:

Tattered Angels Part 3
Here is my third Tattered Angels project. I did this one for the booth, too, using the Timeless Romance collection. Love this line!
I made a little notebook that could be used to journal in or just to write love notes that could be torn out. I started with some tiles from the Nature line. These were spritzed with Tutti Fruiti and Viva Pink.
I sprayed a couple of calling cards with Tutti Fruiti and added them to the front tile. Next, I sprayed the heart Glimmer Screen with Peppermint Stick and 'stamped' it onto cardstock which was then cut out. The frame was painted using new Glimmer Glaze. It's a wonderful medium that has great sheen. The pink flower was also painted with it. On top of this I layered some glitter covered alphas from the Framed Font collection. I added more flowers and some Zva jewels.
I finally (after 2 years - gasp) pulled out my Bind It All and figured out how to use it. (Yes, I know...my bad. But, I do love it now and will be making up for lost time.) I used it to bind the book together and VOILA, I'm done. Again, it's much more glimmery and shimmery than it appears in the photos.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day.

Tattered Angels Part 2
Just popping in today for a quick post. I have another Tattered Angels card to share with you. I just love this one. TA has come out with a new Beach line and I'm in heaven. On this card, I used Carribean blue to create the background with the new palm tree glimmer screen.
Then I layered lots of new goodies over it. I added glitter to one of the new postage stamp frames and spritzed it with Coral Reef and Crushed Shells (definitely one of my new faves). On top of that I added some Glimmer Glass and the letters that were spritzed with Hula Hoop. On the shells and sea horse (isn't he adorable?) I used glitter and a mixture of Coral Reef, Hula Hoop and Crushed shells.
This card is so glimmery and sparkly in real life. Wish you could see how it really looks.

CHA Bound!
Yay! Today is the day! I'm heading to the airport after work this afternoon and I'm so excited. Can't wait to spend time with my girls from Emma's and to shop for the store. I'm going to miss my two guys, but I know they'll be fine as they have each other. Daddy has planned some fun 'bonding' time activities!
I've scheduled a couple of posts over the next few days. I have some Tattered Angels goodies to share with you. I love the new releases. There are so many beautiful new products.
This first project is a layout that I did using the new Travel line. I paired it with some Prima paper and a bingo card from the travel line.
I used several new colors on this page: I sprayed the corner and compass chipboard with Popsicle and Viva Pink and the Adventure piece with Hula Hoop. I added ink to both of them.
I love the new Glimmer Glass. It's not tinted anymore and has blasck outlines. I backed my pieces with patterned paper, but you can also mist or paint it.

ZVA Blog Hop
Our first Zva Creative blog hope was so successful that we decided to do more! This month, everyone is sharing projects made with new CHA goodies.
I am hoping that you will take some time to join us for a little bit of fun! Zva is introducing 100+ brand new crystal and pearl embellishment designs at the show. All designs have a fresh new look and are available in various popular color choices. If you are attending, please stop by the Zva at Booth # 2991.
The Blog Hop begins at Kim Hughes' blog: She is linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. There are 12 design team members, so be prepared to be inspired along the way. Hidden on 5 of the blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Those blogs will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to leave a comment on as many blogs as you can along the way. Our team is so wonderfully diverse, so we are hoping that you will be inspired when you reach the end.
This Blog Hop runs through midnight on Tuesday, January 19th and the 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, January 20th. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to all of the blogs once again on Wednesday...plus, you never know what kind of inspirational creation that you may find there. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Zva Blog Hop post...you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. The more times you leave a comment along the blog hop path though, the more chances you will have to be one of the lucky winners.
Here are three pages that I made with the new Zva goodies. This first one uses new blue and green flourishes. I love how long they are. I used the green silk flowers and cut them up to make shamrocks. I also used a cute new crystal mushroom.
The next two pages feature Carolyn's daughters. She's the owner of Zva and kindly let me scrap her beautiful little ones since I was wanting to do some fun girly pages.
This page uses some new pink and blue pearl flourishes. I love the flowers on the one at the bottom of the photo.
This one uses several new products. I love the corner crystals that are new! There are also several pearl flourishes on here.
That's it for now. Thanks for stopping by and you can continue on to:

A Couple of Cards
This has been the longest week EVER! I don't know why... but I do feel like it will never end. Things are always hectic around CHA time and I guess this year it is even more so with me as I'm now a 'working mom'. But, I've been creating away and really enjoying that! I know everyone feels this way, but I just wish I had more time in the day...
However, I know that my 'problems' are nothing but small annoyances. I'm so sad to be watching everything going on in Haiti. Talk about feeling helpless... My prayers are going out for all those who are suffering and for their families who must be horrified as they watch from so far away. I just found out last night that you can donate to the relief effort in a really easy way. You can text "HAITI" to 90999 and donate $10 to the American Red Cross relief for Haiti. The charge will show up on your next cell phone bill. All major carriers participate in this program. Imagine what they could do if everyone just sent ten dollars...
In scrapping news, I wanted to share a couple of cards today. I made this first one for Emma's and I love how it turned out. I think it may be my new favorite! I used lots of Melissa Frances: the paepr, the trim, the resin, the tag is My Mind's Eye and the birds are Making Memories. And I love that Hambly transparency!
This next one uses a Papertrey set that I just adore - Heartprints. I started out with a Vintage Cream cardstock base. Then I added a Hibiscus Burstborder along with a Melonberry ribbon. I stamped the hearts using Spring Moss, Melonberry and Hibiscus Burst and used a sentiment from Mega Mixed Messages.
That's it for today. I will be back soon with some projects using the awesome new Zva products. Stay tuned. ;)

Raspberry Suite
It's been a while since I've gotten to play with Dawn's Raspberry Suite challenge, but I carved out a bit of time this weekend to create something. Aqua Mist and Lemon Tart together is my favorite combination! So, as soon as I saw Dawn's colors, I knew I'd wanted to play along.
Here's the challenge:
And here is my card.
I used Vintage Labels, Background Basics Text Style, and Mega Mixed Messages on this one. The ribbon is Aqua Mist Grosgrain. I did a fun thing with the buttons. I created little decorative pins with them. I just slid some of the smallest vintage buttons onto some Making Memories pins and added a glue dot onto the last ones, this holds the rest up. Then, I stuck the pins into the bow.
I'm off to check out all of the great cards people made for the challenge. Be sure to check back this week. I'll be posting some Zva projects along with some Webster's Sneaks. You're not going to want to miss this!!

It's Friday!
Well, I made it through my first week back. It was tough after being home for nearly two weeks. But, I've settled back into the routine of things.
I have been busy, but don't have anything to share yet. The next couple of weeks will be exciting, though. Webster's will be previewing their new lines and we will be having a fun scavenger hunt to go along with the reveal!
I do have a couple of cards that I made recently using Bo Bunny's Persuasion line. It's such a fun collection. I added some Zva bling to both cards.
I'll be able to share some of my Zva projects next week, too. So stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by and have an awesome weekend.

Webster's Challenge
I'm getting so excited for CHA! It's just around the corner. I'm in the midst of creating some things for Zva and Tattered Angels. All I can say is WOW! Wait until you see! The new products are awesome.
In the meantime, here are a couple of things I did for Webster's. This first project uses the Winter's Wings papers. I just LOVE these! They are so soft and pretty. The layout shows some of my favorite pics from the blizzard we had last month. I used lots of Zva pearls, too!
I cut the trees from the vellum and cardstock papers and layered them around the photos.
Love those pink snowflakes, so I had to handcut some of them, too.
Another reason I love these papers is because they give me a reason to use pink on a page with my boy in it!
In other Webster's news, I'm hosting the challenge this month at Inspire Me. It's the New Year, New Technique Challenge. All you have to do is create something using a technique that's new to you. Here's the card I did using some spiral flowers. I hadn't done these before.
You can check out the details HERE if you'd like to join in.
That's about it. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day. ;)

Happy New Year and My Top Ten Faves
I know I'm a day late, but we were out of town until last night. Hope you are having a good new year. I'm hoping that 2010 is a good one for us all.
I'm so sad that my vacation is coming to an end. It's been a wonderful week! I've done some scrapping, exercising, shopping and a whole lot of eating. I guess, I need to start cleaning today. Ugh.
Since everyone seems to be doing their top 2009 favorites, I thought I'd jump in, too. This first project is one that I just did. My SIL has a big Christmas Eve party every year. Santa always comes bearing gifts. Well, Ryan was beside himself with excitement this year. He and Erin sat there waiting and when the big man walked in the door, I snapped this picture.
I used lots of my Christmas favorites: October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket, Jenni Bowlin and Basic Grey.
Next up are my Cosmo Cricket tags. I love that Jolly By Golly Line!
Love the colors, and of course the photo, of this one of Ryan.
This one of my mom holds a special place in my heart.
I love the tissue flowers on this goft set.
Not thrilled to be a working mom, but I do love the page.
I love how these gift card holders turned out.
Pink and green is my favorite color combo!
I LOVE everything Jenni Bowlin.
Love Tussy Mussies and being PTI's Guest Designer was a thrill!
So, thanks for taking this trip down memory lane with me. As always, I appreciate your stopping by and your sweet comments. Hope 2010 is a wonderful year for you.
