Prima Build A Page

I'm definitely getting the Back to School blues. We have had such an incredible summer. I've totally enjoyed being with my little guy, having our lazy days at home, hanging out at the pool and doing lots of traveling. Sigh. Summer is absolutely my favorite time of year and I'm already starting to mourn it's loss. I'm home today, so I'm going to let him pick someplace to go/do. Just trying savor these last few weeks before the craziness begins again.

The August Build a Page Sketch is up at the Prima Blog. It's a beauty!! I love Anam's designs and am always so inspired by them.

Here's my page:

I used papers and chipboard from the Annalee line and lots of flowers.

Prima Part 3

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Our's was pretty quiet. We've got the summer cold thing running through the house. Hopefully, it will pass soon.

Today, I have a few more Prima projects that I did for the booth.

This first project is a tee shirt that I decorated with one of the new Donna Downey canvas sheets. I cut circles to create the flowers. Then I cut the swirls from the canvas and adhered them with a fabric adhesive.

Here's the sheet that I used...

This next project uses some of the new flowers, trim and page pebbles. I adhered them with hot glue. They are just perfect for a little girl. (Don't think Ryan will want to wear these...LOL)

And finally, a card using lots of rubons from the Paisley Road collection.

I also used a piece of the chipboard from the collection. I really love the colors in this line!

That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by! :)

More Prima!

Now that CHA is winding down, I can start sharing more of the projects that I made for the Prima booth. First up is this layout using my new favorite Prima line - Annalee. It's right up my alley - soft, pretty and full of flowers!

This layout is about my mom and one of her very best friends. I used one of the new felt gates and peeled off the backing, then added glitter. The adhesive does an amazing job of holding it on.

This next page uses a couple of the new paper lines - Paisley Road and So Cute along with the new iron ons (the orange frame)

I made these flowers by cutting the canvas page into strips, wetting them and then gluing them onto the cardstock.

Finally, here is a card that I made using some of the new packaging from the flowers and a piece of Annalee paper. I sewed the plastic packaging to the top of the paper and added some new flowers and crystals.

So, that's it for today! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Back From Disney World!

I think I need a vacation from my vacation! LOL! We just got back from a 5 day trip to Disney World. It was a blast! My husband is one of five and all of us were down there to celebrate his mom's upcoming birthday. There were 18 of us! We made lots of memories and had so much fun. Though, the heat was awful. It was 97 degrees on Sunday - a record. So, now I'm digging through piles of laundry and am trying to get back in the swing of things. I don't even want to think about the fact that we only ohave 27 more days of summer vacation!!! ;(

So, here's my first project. I made this page using lots of Webster's Garden Gala goodies. You can see the whole list at the Emma's Blog, along with a little tutorial on how to make the glittered bloomers.

Speaking of Webster's Pages, there's a fun challenge going on over there this month. The Design Team is being featured, rather than having a guest designer. Check out this post for tons of inspiration. We each did a project showing how it could look in a simple, moderate and complex form. Here's my card - the complex version. (I had a hard time with the simple one...)

To participate in the challenge, all you have to do is lift one of the DT projects and post it in the gallery. You could win a fabulous prize!

Well, that's about it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!

A Couple of Cards

Just a couple of cards to share with you today. :)

This first one is a matching card and envelope set. I used some GCD and Anna Grifin papers, MM die cuts and Narratives stickers. The beautiful flower is Prima, of course. ;)

Somehow I always end up back at pink and green. I love that color combo. ;)

This next card is based on Jessica Witty's sketch for the Emma's blog. I flipped it and came up with this:

I used Sassafrass Lass papers and stickers, some Hambly rubons and a Prima flower.

That's it for today. Short and sweet! Thanks for stopping by!

New Prima

Well, CHA is going on and I'm wishing I was there! I talked with Cindy from Emma's last night and she's ordering lots of great new things. There are so many products I'm dying to get my hands on! Now, the waiting begins...

In the meantime, I get to play with the new Prima goodies. I can finally share a couple of things with you!

First up is this frame using lots of new flowers and crystals. The flowers, pearls and ribbon at the top are actually one of the new necklaces they've put out. I wrapped it around the top of the frame.

Next up is a layout using the new Paisley Road line. I love the bright colors on this line.

I used lots of rubons on it and the matching chipboard is gorgeous, too!

Finally, I leave you with this cute picture. Pulu, our kitten, just loves being in my scraproom. He makes a mad dash for it everytime he hears me open the door. He loves playing in there and making a mess of things. Here's where I found him curled up the other day - right in my basket of Tattered Angles goodies. :)

So, that's it for today. Hope you have a good one! Thanks for stopping by!

New Websters Pages

The build up to CHA is always such a fun time. And this summer, it's no different. I've been loving all of the sneaks everywhere online and wanted to be sure you saw the AWESOME new Webster's Pages lines from CHA. They are gorgeous.

Here's Hollywood Vogue (click on photo for close ups...)

And one of the new bouquet embellishments. Isn't that peacock feather awesome???

This is Wonderfall. I see some cute Back to School pages being done with this:

And these cute trims to go with it. Webster's always has such great trims.

This is Waiting for Santa. Love the trims that go along with it!!!

This netting is AWESOME!!! I can't wait to play with it!

And I need bags and BAGS of these buttons.

So, I've saved the best for last. This line is my absolute favorite. I just adore the colors and the adorable bouquet that goes along with it!!!

Yeah, I can't wait to get my little hands on all of it!!

Thanks for reading through all of this. I thought I'd share a WP card with you before I go. I used lots of Garden Gala papers on this one. The sentiment stamp is Papertrey. Are those little birdies cute, or what???

Thanks so much for stopping by!
