Today's page is one of my new favorites. Not just because I love the colors and products I used, but because it documents a really fun afternoon I had a couple of weeks ago. Cindy, from Emma's Paperie, lives fairly near my brother in Virginia. So, when we went down to visit him for the weekend, I met up with her for an afternoon of antiquing! We had soooooooooooo much fun, and the places were amazing!
This page is based on Color Combos Galore #157. I wasn't sure about the colors at first, but I really like how it turned out. I don't usually do a whole lot of black on my pages, but I think Im going to start doing more!
I dug into my stash and used the velvet DCWV paper for the background. And the butterflies and polka dot strip are Heidi Swapp transparencies.
The chipboard, flowers and pink paper are all Prima.
Here's the place where we took the pics. I was in heaven! It's called On A Whim.
And then we hit the Lucketts Store. Truly an amazing place.
I took a ton of fun pics, but am having trouble uploading them for some reason. I could do it at the photo store, just not at home...
I need to get back with a truck. I was only able to buy a few little things this time. It's a good thing this place is almost 3 hours away, or I'd be broke.
Well, that's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!!!

CCG and Pencil Lines
Color Combos Galore teamed up with Pencil Lines this month to celebrate Pencil Lines' 200th sketch. Each week, there will be a special color combo to go along with the sketch. I got to play along this week.
Here's my page.
It's based on this color combo and sketch.
I used the right hand side of the sketch for my inspiration.
My page is about a wonderful candy store in Disney World and how Ryan was totally spoiled by his Uncle Joe there! I used lots of My Mind's Eye goodies on here.
The chipboard is Pink Paislee. I still love these letters. And I added a fun Maya Road kraft envelope, too.
Be sure to stop by Pencil Lines and see the other projects the DT created! Play along if you can!!
Thanks for visiting today. :)

Hollywood Vogue
I finally sat down to play with my new Webster's papers and I just adore Hollywood Vogue. The colors are gorgeous!!! I don't have the embellishments yet, so I didn't want to use too much of the paper, but I had a lot of fun doing this page.
These are my friends Tom and Amanda. They got married last year in Cape May, NJ. Right before the ceremony on the beach was supposed to start, it began raining. They ended up doing it in the hotel lobby. Luckily, they were able to get outside and take some photos afterwards. It was still a gorgeous wedding! And she looked absolutely stunning!
Here are some close ups. I spritzed the background with Juniper Glimmer Mist and did lots of handcutting. I added some stamping, too. They are Prima.
I ended up making a card with some of the scraps. I added some trim and a fabric fancy from the previous collections.
Be sure to stop by Inspire Me on Thursday night. We are having another chat at 9pm EST. You can find the info. here.
That's it for today! We're just laying low this weekend. I'm in a reorganizing/nesting mood. I'm tackling the medicine cabinets today. LOL. I only have this last week left before we head back to school and work on the 30th. (WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!)

Bloomers and Seam Binding
As you know, I just love Webster's Bloomers! They add the perfect touch to projects. Well, like peanut butter and jelly, salt and pepper and chips and margaritas (my personal fave), I've discovered another wonderful pairing - Bloomers and Seam Binding. I have a couple of cards to share today using both of these fun items.
This first card uses Cosmo Cricket's Lovey Dovey line along with my favorite pairing. I'm just in love with the colors in this line!
You can see the whole supply list at the Emma's blog.
This next card uses Webster's Lullabye Lane line along with the Bloomers and seam binding. I added a vintage button to the center of the flower and paired it with a Hambly rubon frame.
I just love the texture on both of these cards.
Oh, and since some people have asked, this is how I send my cards. Sometimes I put them in a larger padded enevelope. Sometimes, I place them in a regular envelope and add an extra stamp so they will be 'hand postmarked'. My cards have always reached their destination, so I guess this system works.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day. :)

A Little Hello
Prima flowers are awesome, of course, but one of my absolute favorite products that Prima makes are the clear stamps. The backgrounds, frames and images are all right up my alley - elegant, vintage and floral-y!!
I used two sets on this card. The Pastiche paper was stamped with Songbird. I added a punched border and mounted it on kraft paper.
Next, I adhered the Shabby Chic chipboard to the top of the card. I stamped a frame from the Insectae set and cut it out. I adhered it to the chipboard and added the flowers and pearls.
I like using stamps as accents on layouts, too. Here is how I used them on my Together page that I posted a little while back.
I stamped directly on the paper using a stamp from the Clear Stamps: Nouveau set. Then, I stamped a leaf image from Clear Stamps Green Leaf and cut it out. I tucked it into the flower spray.
So, that's it for today. If you haven't tried Prima's stamps, I highly reccomend them!

CCG 155
Color Combos Galore 155 is live! What a fun challenge there is this week. The color combo is so unique and it really made me think outside the box. But, I really like the results!
The mint green paper is from Webster's Winter's Wings collection. The yellow paper is from Garden Gala. I added a ruffle made with the fabric strips. I just stitched one end and pulled the thread to create the ruffle. The sparkler on the bow is my favorite part.
Here is the inspiration board for this week.
Be sure to stop by CCG for lots of inspiration and to take part in the fun!

Prima Build A Page
I'm definitely getting the Back to School blues. We have had such an incredible summer. I've totally enjoyed being with my little guy, having our lazy days at home, hanging out at the pool and doing lots of traveling. Sigh. Summer is absolutely my favorite time of year and I'm already starting to mourn it's loss. I'm home today, so I'm going to let him pick someplace to go/do. Just trying savor these last few weeks before the craziness begins again.
The August Build a Page Sketch is up at the Prima Blog. It's a beauty!! I love Anam's designs and am always so inspired by them.
Here's my page:
I used papers and chipboard from the Annalee line and lots of flowers.

Prima Part 3
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Our's was pretty quiet. We've got the summer cold thing running through the house. Hopefully, it will pass soon.
Today, I have a few more Prima projects that I did for the booth.
This first project is a tee shirt that I decorated with one of the new Donna Downey canvas sheets. I cut circles to create the flowers. Then I cut the swirls from the canvas and adhered them with a fabric adhesive.
Here's the sheet that I used...
This next project uses some of the new flowers, trim and page pebbles. I adhered them with hot glue. They are just perfect for a little girl. (Don't think Ryan will want to wear these...LOL)
And finally, a card using lots of rubons from the Paisley Road collection.
I also used a piece of the chipboard from the collection. I really love the colors in this line!

More Prima!
Now that CHA is winding down, I can start sharing more of the projects that I made for the Prima booth. First up is this layout using my new favorite Prima line - Annalee. It's right up my alley - soft, pretty and full of flowers!
This layout is about my mom and one of her very best friends. I used one of the new felt gates and peeled off the backing, then added glitter. The adhesive does an amazing job of holding it on.
This next page uses a couple of the new paper lines - Paisley Road and So Cute along with the new iron ons (the orange frame)
I made these flowers by cutting the canvas page into strips, wetting them and then gluing them onto the cardstock.
Finally, here is a card that I made using some of the new packaging from the flowers and a piece of Annalee paper. I sewed the plastic packaging to the top of the paper and added some new flowers and crystals.

Back From Disney World!
I think I need a vacation from my vacation! LOL! We just got back from a 5 day trip to Disney World. It was a blast! My husband is one of five and all of us were down there to celebrate his mom's upcoming birthday. There were 18 of us! We made lots of memories and had so much fun. Though, the heat was awful. It was 97 degrees on Sunday - a record. So, now I'm digging through piles of laundry and am trying to get back in the swing of things. I don't even want to think about the fact that we only ohave 27 more days of summer vacation!!! ;(
So, here's my first project. I made this page using lots of Webster's Garden Gala goodies. You can see the whole list at the Emma's Blog, along with a little tutorial on how to make the glittered bloomers.
Speaking of Webster's Pages, there's a fun challenge going on over there this month. The Design Team is being featured, rather than having a guest designer. Check out this post for tons of inspiration. We each did a project showing how it could look in a simple, moderate and complex form. Here's my card - the complex version. (I had a hard time with the simple one...)
To participate in the challenge, all you have to do is lift one of the DT projects and post it in the gallery. You could win a fabulous prize!
Well, that's about it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
