Wow! What a storm!!! They say we got about 28 inches of snow. And there's possibly another storm coming on Tuesday.
We have had a wonderful time snug in our house. I've gotten some scrapping done, Ryan has been playing with the neighbors, the crock pot has been cooking away! All of the kids have had lots of time outside!
Here are some photos. It's hard to see how deep it really looks, but I think you'll get the idea.
These first two were taken during the storm.
Here's the front of our house.
And here is DH having a snowball fight with the kids outside. The snow plow came through and made these huge piles out in our circle. The kids are loving them. This particular one has to be over 6 feet high at it's peek.
So, how's the weather where you are??? LOL!
Wanted to share another Valentine with you. This one was in the newly released 'Stamp It' issue.
I love Papertrey's Heart Prints set. I think it's one of my top faves. I used Poppy Ink cardstock along with Poppy Ink and Hibiscus Burst ink. The grosgrain ribbon is also Poppy Ink.
I have an extra copy of Stamp It!. Leave a comment by Tuesday at midnight and I'll pick a winner to send it to. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
holy snow girl!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your card, your gorgeous work is always so inspiring Anabelle ;)
have a GREAT day!
hugs~

We live in a part of the country that normally gets a lot of snow, but this storm missed us (not that I'm complaining!) Sounds like you're all making the best of it, for sure. Thanks for the chance to win this issue -- it looks great.
ReplyDeleteWe're in the mid section of NC and got hit by the first storm last week -- 4" of snow and then 12 hours of sleet on top of that. We rarely get snow here, so the city shuts down! The storm came in Fri/Sat and the kids were out of school until the following Thursday because the roads remained icy due to no plowing of the roads! CRAZY! Your V-Day card is precious!! I love how you put the half scalloped circles and doilie ... great bling factor! Always an inspiration. TFS!!!
ReplyDeleteholy cow for all of the snow!!! Pretty to look at but so glad I am not in it.. LOL...
ReplyDeleteLove your card VERY CUTE!!! Fun details!!! The whether here is nice and warm finally. It was up in the 60's yesterday but is raining today so won't be as warm.

Oooh What a lot of snow, unbelievable. Here in the Netherlands we rarely have snow. This winter was an exception but here where we live near the sea, the most we got was 2 inches and I already tought it was a lot and was glad when it was gone (i dont like driving when it's so slippery).
ReplyDeleteLove the card you made, love the red tones you used and really love Papertrey stamps. And thank you for the change to win a magazine.
Bye Irene
