Zva Blog Hop!

We are joining together today to share a project that we have created using some of our favorite Zva Creative
products. I am hoping that
you will take some time to join us for a little bit of fun!

The Blog Hop begins at Kim Hughes' blog. She is linking to one of the Zva designers and that designer is linking
to the next and so on. There are 12 design team members, so be prepared
to be inspired along the way. Hidden on 5 of the blogs is a Zva
Creative prize package consisting of the latest CHA release...YAY! Those blogs will be randomly chosen after the
hop is over, so it's important to leave a comment on as many blogs as
you can along the way.

This Blog Hop runs through midnight on Tuesday, March 2nd and the 5
winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 3rd. We will do our
best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to all of
the blogs once again on Wednesday...plus, you never know what kind of
inspirational creation that you may find there. All you need to do is
leave a comment on this Zva Blog Hop post...you do not need to leave a
comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. The more
times you leave a comment along the blog hop path though, the more
chances you will have to be one of the lucky winners.

So, withough further ado, here is my page. I am absolutely SICK of winter. We have had more snow and snow days than I care to count. And, as I mentioned before, I no longer get off for snow days. So it just basically STRESSES me out big time to figure out how I'm going to work, who's watching the little guy, etc., etc. Anyway, I thought I'd document my feelings by creating this page.

I used lots of Zva goodies on here- pearl flourishes, pearl borders, flowers and mini pearl flourishes. (PE02CB105, PE02CB111, PE02CB144, PEC02CB106) I wanted them to create the feeling of warm summer breeses and waves rolling onto the shore. (Yeah, I really AM dreaming of summer)

The journaling says: Dreamin' of Summer...of the beach, Woodside Farm ice cream, bonfires, playing outside late, BBQs, Slip n Slides, Rita's, the ice cream truck, fresh produce, flowers, fireflies, the pool, the heat! After 40" of snow this winter, we've EARNED it!

The papers are all from Webster's new Seaside Serenade line. I'm in love with it!!! And the stamp, screen, Glimmer Mist, chipboard and Glimmer Glass are Tattered Angels.

One of the things we're sharing with you today, aside from our projects, is our favorite Zva products. I don't know how to narrow it down because I have so many, but here goesl

I LOVE these blue and lime pearl strips. I use them all the time! (See the card in the post below) PE02CB110

Another product I love is this pearl flourish set. (PE02CB127) I love the fact that the pack comes with two different flourishes. White is a great color to work with. I often use my Copics or Sharpie pens to color them in order to coordinate with my papers.

Two new products from the newest release are my favorites, too. I LOVE the new corner flourishes and ALL of the red crystals. The red is so deep and elegant and I know I'll be able to use them on lots of projects. They will be available soon. I know that Emma's will be carrying them as will Scrapbook.com.

You've seen this layout before, but I'm sharing it again to point out my favorite crystals!

So, that's it for today! If you started at Kim's blog, then you're done! If not, head on over to her blog so you'll be sure to see all of the awesome projects the team has done!

CPS 155

It's been a while since I've been able to do a CPS sketch, so I was really excited to do this card this morning. I was supposed to go up to school and work at the school carnival, but it was postponed due to the snow yesterday. So, what did I do? Sat in my scraproom all morning! Woo Hoo!

Anyway, I made this one for a friend who just had a baby boy. I am officially in love with Webster's new Lullabye Lane collection. It is absolutely gorgeous.

I used the mini papers and a journaling card from the set. I added some Zva pearls and flowers. And see that cool vintage button on the bow? I just scored it this week at my favorite antique mall. :)

Don't forget to stop by Monday morning for the Zva blog hop. I'm sure the girls are going to have some amazing projects. And there will be prizes involved. ;)

Thanks for stopping by!

March/April Papercrafts

The new issue of Papercrafts just arrived at my door and I can't wait to go through it. I have several projects in it, but this one is my favorite. Just wanted to pop on and share it with you.

This card appears in the color challenge feature. I used some Bo Bunny paper, PTI cardstock and Fancy Flourishes stamp. I made the ribbon using Lemon Tart ribbon and the sentiment is from Mega Mixed Messages. I used my favorite Martha punch on this for the border.

Before I go, I just wanted to share a peek for another one of my Jenni Bowlin Mercantile projects. I can't wait until the gallery is up on Sunday night so that I can share them all with you.

Well, that's it for today. Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to stop back on Monday. We are having another Zva blog hop and I'm sure there will be prizes involved. :)

Here are some of my favorite projects that I've made in the past using JBS goodies...

So, this month's kit is filled with goodies from the amazing new Homespun line. I've been busy creating! The gallery will be up on the 28th, but in the meantime here's a look at one of my pages.

Happy Monday!

Don't you just LOVE Mondays???? I do! (not really...just trying to convince myself of that...)

I'm in the middle of working on some fun projects that I can share with you later this week. In the meantime, I thought I'd pop on for a quick post.

I did the sketch for Emma's this month. Here it is... I don't know how to do it digitally, so it's just drawn and photographed. No fanciness here. ;)

Here's my card. I used lots of the BG Origins line.

I created a paper ruffle along the bottom and added some Zva jewels.

And my favorite part is the little Maya Road envelope. LOVE these things. I made a little tag to fit inside for an added surprise.

Be sure to stop over at the Emma's Blog and see what the girls did with the sketch. Their cards are awesome!

That's it for today! Don't forget about the chat at Webster's on Wednesday at 9PM EST!

Thanks for stopping by!

Mark Your Calendar!

Next Wednesday, February 24 at 9 PM EST, I am co-hosting a chat at Inspire Me, Webster's Pages community site. It's sure to be lots of fun! If you haven't been to a chat before, you're in for a good time. There's lots of WP fans all in one spot. This month's chat is extra special! We are going to be talking about lots of the techniques we've been using this month as we combined our Webster's and Tattered Angels products. Hope you can make it!

Just wanted to share another quick card that I made using Webster's new Life's Portraits line. This one uses the mini papers along with a new journaling card. This project may look familiar to you. That's because I used one of my layouts (SEEN HERE) as the inspiration for it. I often turn to scrapbook pages as inspiration for my cards. This time I lifted myself! I just love this particular paper so much, I had to. LOL! ;)

I added a Hambly frame, Zva gems, Melissa Frances stamp and some Papertrey ribbon.

That's all for today! It's a busy weekend!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by. :)

More Webster's Goodies

So, Webster's and Tattered Angels are teaming up this month. It's such a match made in heaven!

Here are some of my newest projects.

This one uses one of the new Heidi Swapp cut outs. LOVE them. They have foil and are embossed so that when you spritz them and wipe them off, the pattern shines through. I used some Zva pearls and flowers along with the Webster's Life's Portrait papers.

This next page uses Nature's Storybook line with some TA chipboard and a Glimmer Screen misted corner. (I used Patina on that.) The frame on Ryan's face is from the new postage stamp font.

I used journaling cards for the background and some stickers from the Nature's Storybook line.

Finally, this creation uses the 'Christmas card photo that never was.' I love the picture, but never ended up making the cards. It makes for a good layout though.

Details on how I made the flowers and close up shots can be found HERE. And if you want to see more gorgeous projects made with Tattered Angels and Websters they are all HERE. The pearl flourishes are new Zva!

That's about it! Thanks for stopping by!
