It's been a while since I've been able to do a CPS sketch, so I was really excited to do this card this morning. I was supposed to go up to school and work at the school carnival, but it was postponed due to the snow yesterday. So, what did I do? Sat in my scraproom all morning! Woo Hoo!
Anyway, I made this one for a friend who just had a baby boy. I am officially in love with Webster's new Lullabye Lane collection. It is absolutely gorgeous.
I used the mini papers and a journaling card from the set. I added some Zva pearls and flowers. And see that cool vintage button on the bow? I just scored it this week at my favorite antique mall. :)
Don't forget to stop by Monday morning for the Zva blog hop. I'm sure the girls are going to have some amazing projects. And there will be prizes involved. ;)
Thanks for stopping by!

March/April Papercrafts
The new issue of Papercrafts just arrived at my door and I can't wait to go through it. I have several projects in it, but this one is my favorite. Just wanted to pop on and share it with you.
This card appears in the color challenge feature. I used some Bo Bunny paper, PTI cardstock and Fancy Flourishes stamp. I made the ribbon using Lemon Tart ribbon and the sentiment is from Mega Mixed Messages. I used my favorite Martha punch on this for the border.
Before I go, I just wanted to share a peek for another one of my Jenni Bowlin Mercantile projects. I can't wait until the gallery is up on Sunday night so that I can share them all with you.
Well, that's it for today. Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to stop back on Monday. We are having another Zva blog hop and I'm sure there will be prizes involved. :)

Happy Monday!
Don't you just LOVE Mondays???? I do! (not really...just trying to convince myself of that...)
I'm in the middle of working on some fun projects that I can share with you later this week. In the meantime, I thought I'd pop on for a quick post.
I did the sketch for Emma's this month. Here it is... I don't know how to do it digitally, so it's just drawn and photographed. No fanciness here. ;)
Here's my card. I used lots of the BG Origins line.
I created a paper ruffle along the bottom and added some Zva jewels.
And my favorite part is the little Maya Road envelope. LOVE these things. I made a little tag to fit inside for an added surprise.
Be sure to stop over at the Emma's Blog and see what the girls did with the sketch. Their cards are awesome!
That's it for today! Don't forget about the chat at Webster's on Wednesday at 9PM EST!

Mark Your Calendar!
Next Wednesday, February 24 at 9 PM EST, I am co-hosting a chat at Inspire Me, Webster's Pages community site. It's sure to be lots of fun! If you haven't been to a chat before, you're in for a good time. There's lots of WP fans all in one spot. This month's chat is extra special! We are going to be talking about lots of the techniques we've been using this month as we combined our Webster's and Tattered Angels products. Hope you can make it!
Just wanted to share another quick card that I made using Webster's new Life's Portraits line. This one uses the mini papers along with a new journaling card. This project may look familiar to you. That's because I used one of my layouts (SEEN HERE) as the inspiration for it. I often turn to scrapbook pages as inspiration for my cards. This time I lifted myself! I just love this particular paper so much, I had to. LOL! ;)
I added a Hambly frame, Zva gems, Melissa Frances stamp and some Papertrey ribbon.
That's all for today! It's a busy weekend!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by. :)

More Webster's Goodies
So, Webster's and Tattered Angels are teaming up this month. It's such a match made in heaven!
Here are some of my newest projects.
This one uses one of the new Heidi Swapp cut outs. LOVE them. They have foil and are embossed so that when you spritz them and wipe them off, the pattern shines through. I used some Zva pearls and flowers along with the Webster's Life's Portrait papers.
This next page uses Nature's Storybook line with some TA chipboard and a Glimmer Screen misted corner. (I used Patina on that.) The frame on Ryan's face is from the new postage stamp font.
I used journaling cards for the background and some stickers from the Nature's Storybook line.
Finally, this creation uses the 'Christmas card photo that never was.' I love the picture, but never ended up making the cards. It makes for a good layout though.
Details on how I made the flowers and close up shots can be found HERE. And if you want to see more gorgeous projects made with Tattered Angels and Websters they are all HERE. The pearl flourishes are new Zva!

Back Up and Running!
YAY! My computer has been fixed and I'm up and running again. Thank goodness. I have a ton of deadlines on Monday and desperately needed it to be working. :)
Congratulations to Jennifer Hansen, the winner of my extra Stamp It! copy. Jennifer, send me your address and I'll get it out to you ASAP.
So, here is my Emma's project for the week. I made it for Ryan's teacher. By the time she gets it, it's going to be St. Patrick's Day. Believe it or not, they are calling for snow on Monday night. They haven't had school since Feb. 5!! If I have to find chid care for Tuesday, too, I'm going to jump off the roof.
Anyway, here's my project. I used lots of Basic Grey Sugared on here. And how fun is that candy corn. It tastes like Strawberries and Cream!
This next card is another Valentiney one that I made.
All of the supplies are on the Emma blog.
Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day. We are having a seafood dinner and chocolate fondue for dessert!

ack
I'm blogging from my phone! Our desktop has decided to die. Of course, this happened in the middle of the huge
Blizzard we were hit with yesterday. I don't know when I'll be able to get out to fix the situation. In the meantime,I have some deadlines. I can't access my PhotoShop. If you know of an online site that I can edit photos and save them as a jpeg, let me know. I was at my neighbors yesterday trying to do it but couldn't save my pics on my jump drive. Grrrrr.
I will be back soon with my giveaway winner. Oh, and sorry for any typos. Blogging with a touch pad is rough.

Digging Out (and a Giveaway, too!)
Wow! What a storm!!! They say we got about 28 inches of snow. And there's possibly another storm coming on Tuesday.
We have had a wonderful time snug in our house. I've gotten some scrapping done, Ryan has been playing with the neighbors, the crock pot has been cooking away! All of the kids have had lots of time outside!
Here are some photos. It's hard to see how deep it really looks, but I think you'll get the idea.
These first two were taken during the storm.
Here's the front of our house.
And here is DH having a snowball fight with the kids outside. The snow plow came through and made these huge piles out in our circle. The kids are loving them. This particular one has to be over 6 feet high at it's peek.
So, how's the weather where you are??? LOL!
Wanted to share another Valentine with you. This one was in the newly released 'Stamp It' issue.
I love Papertrey's Heart Prints set. I think it's one of my top faves. I used Poppy Ink cardstock along with Poppy Ink and Hibiscus Burst ink. The grosgrain ribbon is also Poppy Ink.
I have an extra copy of Stamp It!. Leave a comment by Tuesday at midnight and I'll pick a winner to send it to. :)

Snow's A Comin'!!
They say we're in for a big one. I hit the grocery store at 7am this morning and grabbed a few needed things. I'm ready to hunker down!
I have a mini album to share with you today. I made this for a friend using lots of Tattered Angels goodies. I used Tutti Fruiti, Scarlet Red and Pink Taffy mixed together throughout the album. I made it for a friend who was recently engaged.
Here's a peek at some of the inside pages. I did some stamping with the Regal Glimmer screens. And I spritzed cream colored flowers (and stamped on some, too) to make them coordinate. I left the album blank so my friend could add her own photos and journaling...
So, while I normally don't have the patience to do minis, I just love how this one turned out!
Just one last thing to share with you today. Time went by soooooooo quickly this morning as I worked out on the eliptical. That's because I was reading my copy of Lisa Pace's amazing book, Delight in the Details. I'm in awe! I've always adored Lisa's work and having a whole book of it is such a treat. I preordered it in December and it came the other day. I totally recommend this book if you love glitter, glam, vintage or shabby!
(photo from Lisa's blog - I couldn't get the one off of Amazon.)
Here is the link at Amazon.
So, keep us East Coasters in your thoughts as this strom bears down!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
