Cardmaker Magazine blog so you won't miss any of the fun! I'm really excited to be participating. Today I have a card, that I made with the beautiful Maggie Holmes line, to share with you.
I'm a huge fan of chipboard and die cuts. For this card, I started with a cream colored base. I layered several of the die cuts, from the ephemera pack, to use as a backdrop for my butterfly.
Next, I added a clothespin to the butterfly. I removed the decorative accent from one of the bobby pins and added it to the clothespin. A couple of gems finished things off. I attached this to my layered die cuts.
I love the canvas frames in this line. I decided to cut my sentiment from one of them and adhered it below the butterfly.
My card is simple, yet I think it packs a lot in for a great effect.

I don't know if I'd refer to your card as "simple", but it is lovely. I like the way you used the different elements. I don't think 'out of the box' as well as you. LOL
I have some mini-clothespins. look forward to trying this stamping technique
