Happy World Cardmaking Day! I'm so excited to be joining in the fun with Elle's Studio today. It's no secret that I adore Elle's tags and stamps, so I was thrilled when she asked me to create a card using her wonderful new digital set, Everyday Greetings. Check it out:
Aren't they fun? I love the colors and I love the sayings. These have found a special space on my scrap table and I know I will be reaching for them OFTEN!
I printed them out twice. The first time I printed each page at 8.5 by 11. The second time I printed them both on one 8.5 by 11 page. So, I have the tags at two different sizes. I mixed the sizes to create this card.
I started by stitching on the tags. I added them to the embossed background using some foam adhesive for dimension.
They were really fun to layer together. The colors were so bright and cheery that I didn't want to add any patterned paper for competition, so I stuck with some ribbon, a brad and chipboard arrows topped with gems.
Like what you see? The set is on sale this weekend in honor of World Cardmaking Day for only $2.00! You can get it here:
