Paper Crafts Magazine Presents: The 12 Designers of Christmas Blog Hop

I am so excited to be a part of today's Paper Crafts blog hop celebrating Holiday Cards and More! Thanks for stopping by.

This is going to be such a great issue. It was fun creating projects for it and now that I've gotten my issue, even more fun seeing all of the amazing things everyone else did! I'm definitely getting into the holiday spirit.




To celebrate the new issue, there are twelve designers sharing a brand new project. There are three great projects from the issue which were our inspiration. You can find the patterns for them here: Paper Crafts Patterns. I made a gift bag based on the pattern Vannessa Menhorn created for her Poinsettia bag. Here's my interpretation:




I used the new Mitten Weather line by Cosmo Cricket. I'm absolutely in love with it. Cosmo always has the cutest chipboard elements and when I saw this little snowman, I just knew he needed to be holding a banner!

    So cute...love the idea of the banner...anything with a banner gets my vote...lol...love it..haven't looked at alot of the new lines yet this year (too broke...lol) so trying not to temp me...but Stampin Up has a new DS paper called Candy Cane Christmas...love it!!!

    I love this bag. Love the color combo. I'm in the process of redecorating my art room in this shade of blue with red accents. I'm so new to papercrafting that I am unfamiliar with the lines. Reading blogs like yours and comments like these helps to educate me. Thanks.

    I don't have a favorite line lol! I'm a recycler so many of the papers and embellishments I use are from a clearance rack or I've found a way to re-purpose something.

    Any line by Cosmo Cricket seems to be my favorite (very cute!), so the one that your snowman comes from "Mitten Time" I think it's called, is probably my favorite. They just always have special visuals!

    My favorite line (so far) is Mitten Weather by Cosmo Cricket because of the color scheme and the fun jovial nature of the characters. I always gravitate towards youthful and bright color patterns because of my nieces. Thanks for sharing your beautiful project!
