I don't know about where you live, but Silly Bands are all the rage here! I wish I had thought of this idea. I'd be rich!
This page uses a combo of My Little Shoebox paper and Tattered Angels chipboard. I had so much fun with the bright colors and designs.
I created the title block by layering chipboard frames over a chipboard panel. Then, I added the letters over that.
I used lots of foam adhesive on here to give it a textured look. I also added some stitching to the semi-circle around the frame.
I have something fun to tell you for my next post. :) Thanks for stopping by and come back soon!
HI Anabelle! Haley is also enjoying those silly bands. I wasn't sure what to think of them...but your fantastic layout makes me like them! ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Silly bands are everywhere around here. Just today I picked a couple of new packs for my kids and thought to myself that I should document this fad in their lives with a scrapbook page.
ReplyDeleteI love your page. the colors compliment the silly bands so well and the details are great!
This layout is just amazing Anabelle! So bright and fun. My girls love silly bands too! Have a great week, my sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteOh Annabelle, wow the colours the design, you are so inspirational, I just love looking at your gorgeous designs, I am from Queensland, Australia and Nate is 3.5 so the silly bands have eluded us so far, but I often say I wish I had invented some of these silly fashionable things. Gorgeous.....Melxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful page who said you couldnt use pink on a boy's page lol!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous layout! I love the colors!!
ReplyDeleteThe silly bands look FUN!
;D
Great page!
ReplyDeleteOur first day of Vacation Bible School was Tuesday and I noticed that lots of kids (and a few parents) were wearing bracelets that looked a little odd...they were all kinked up in places and looked kind of twisty. Yesterday one of the guys in the church band was wearing one and pulled it off and it formed the shape of a trumpet!! He told me what they were and I realized that was what I had seen all over the kids yesterday. And today, I think even more kids had them! What a fun fad!!
This is adorable, Anabelle! the bright colors of your page mimic those Silly Bands perfectly. I've been escaping the Silly Bands craze at my house. My DS is too old for them, but I'm kind of surprised my DD doesn't care for them either. She doesn't seem to like to wear any kind of accessory. Makes her a cheap date. ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful layout, and what a sweet photo. I haven't seen silly bands here. I think my daughter might be too young yet. Thanks for sharing! :)
