The Reason for the Season...

The shopping is done, the gifts are wrapped, the plans have been made and the crafts have been completed. Now, I want to stop and reflect upon the reason for the season. One of my favorite scripture passages is John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. ..." This is what it's all about.

May the Lord bless you on this most wonderful day. May He fill your heart with love and bring peace to you this coming year.

    That blessing is very similar to the blessing I say to my kids each night and I say to you now, my friend: "May the Lord bless you and keep you, may the Lord protect you and smile on you, may the Lord be gracious to you and give you peace."
